Results show that use of the locally made pole injector for instance reduces banana scab moth damage by about 80% Research has shown that fruit bagging is cheap and the most effective and appropriate method to control banana fruit flies. If done correctly and at the correct timing it will reduce fruit fly damage by nearly 100%
